Terms of Service
1. What this is
ShortsCutter is a personal video publishing tool built and operated by Danil Gryzlov ("the operator"). It cuts long-form video into short vertical clips and uploads them to social media accounts owned by the operator.
It is not a product offered to the public. There is no sign-up, no subscription, no payment, and no third-party users. These terms describe how the tool operates and the commitments it makes to the platforms it connects to.
2. Acceptable use
The tool is used only to:
- publish video content created by the operator;
- publish to social media accounts owned and controlled by the operator;
- upload each clip once, to each destination, with the operator's review and approval of the accompanying text.
The tool is not used to:
- publish content created by anyone else, or content the operator does not hold the rights to;
- post to accounts the operator does not own;
- send automated messages, comments, follows or likes;
- scrape, collect or store data belonging to other users;
- artificially inflate views, engagement or reach;
- circumvent any rate limit, quota or restriction set by a platform.
3. Platform terms
ShortsCutter operates within the developer terms of every platform it connects to, including the YouTube Terms of Service, the YouTube API Services Terms of Service, the TikTok Developer Terms of Service, the Meta Platform Terms, the Pinterest Developer Guidelines, and the VK API rules.
Where a platform's terms conflict with anything written here, the platform's terms take precedence.
4. Content ownership
All video, audio and text published through this tool is created by the operator, who retains ownership of it. The tool claims no rights over any content passing through it.
5. Availability and warranty
The tool is provided as-is, for the operator's own use. It carries no warranty and no guarantee of availability. It may stop working at any time, including when a platform changes its API.
6. Privacy
Data handling is described in the privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Changes
These terms may be updated. The current version is always the one published on this page, with its effective date shown above.
